The selling point of the Therminator II boiler is it’s ability to use multiple fuel
sources - you can have either a log and pellet option, or a log and wood-chip option.
This gives the flexibility for you to run on logs when you have the time to load
the boiler and dry fuel available, but means that you can easily swap to run on pellets
for convenience the rest of the time.
The PelletTop is a gadget-lover’s dream - it includes all of the latest technology
in pellet combustion (down-firing combustion, automatic ignition, lambda control
and patented heat exchanger cleaning) as well as a touch screen that can link to
your smartphone, tablet or computer via VNC client freeware. It also uses multiple
variables to determine the best ration of fuel and air to make the most efficient
use of your pellets.
The Octoplus boiler is designed with the symbiosis of solar and biomass in mind.
It is an all-in-one unit that takes direct input from solar panels to the integral
thermal store, and the con-joined boiler then tops up the heat requirements using
wood pellets. The highly modern, user-friendly touch-screen control coordinates
all control functions (solar system, pellet burner, heating control, hot water, etc)
and with the unit being all-in-one it saves space.
