“Seggat is a working farm and holiday cottages, so it is really important to us to
have plenty of instant hot water and heating throughout the year. Athol has always
made time to explain how and why everything works for us and has been happy to pop
by to see us when we’ve needed extra help (we’re fairly sure it’s not just because
we feed him!). Our wood chip boiler coped well over the hard winter and it’s good
to know that our hot water and heating is coming from a sustainable source.” Bill

“Since Athol came on board here at Meldrum House, he has worked tirelessly on ensuring
that our boilers are operational and efficient. He is an extremely professional
man, that goes out of his way to help you -

“AD Heating researched and installed the best renewable heating solution we could
have asked for, tailored to our needs and within our budget. As newcomers to the
world of renewable energy, Athol was able to guide and support us through the whole
complicated process, from choosing our system, installation, commissioning and aftercare.
We have now been living with our new biomass boiler and solar collectors for just
under 1 year. Our house was wonderfully warm all through the last dreadful winter
and we are currently enjoying lots of free hot water courtesy of the sun. What is
even better are the overall running costs. We had inherited a very expensive and
inefficient electric heating system in our new home. Even with the extended low
temperatures of last winter we are now on track to significantly reduce our heating
costs, by approximately 50%. You do have to 'engage' with your systems a little
more than mains gas or oil, but we have found it helps us think more carefully about
how we use our system. You also need to think about the space for the boiler -
